I am Emma. Wife. Sister. Daughter. Aunt. Friend. Teacher. Caseworker. Writer. Dancer. Vocalist. Maid. Chef. Listener. Talker. Teacher. Former Program Director. M.O.M (Mom of multiples) —and so much more.

I am an avid and addicted reader and writer.  I was born and raised in the capital of Rock, Blues, B.B. King, and BBQ — Memphis, TN. I just moved to Chattanooga, TN after living in Texas for 7 years with my husband, a 9th grader, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a fish. We moved to Texas so that my best friend (and accomplice) could get his Doctorate at the University of Texas A&M (Whoop!)

While we were in TX,  I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade. I also coached Jr. High girls: Track, Volleyball, and Basketball.

I loved my college days with every ounce of my being and spent my 4 years earning a BA in Psychology and Writing from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA, Go Bears!) My minor was in theatre and performance. (Just for fun, ya know?)

I am currently on hiatus from studying for my MA in Community Counseling from A&M Commerce.

I’ve been having adventures ever since birth, but more recently graduating in 2005, working in kids athletic camps, pizza joints, gymnastic academies, treatment facilities, residential homes, and public schools. My current adventure has me moved us to Chattanooga, TN to oversee a faith-based experiential living community for leadership & mentoring just yards off of The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (UTC) campus.
